Hi, I'm Chelsea.
A Canadian photographer, mama, wife, artist, and the heart behind Chelsea Mats.
For over a decade, I've been capturing the sparkle in people and the beauty found in nature. My work has always been more than just images - it's about feeling, connection, and light.
Chelsea Mats was born from a desire to bring that same artistry into everyday life. I wanted to create something that people could not only see, but experience - something that inspires movement, presence, and joy.
Each mat begins as a photograph, thoughtfully designed to elevate your space and your practice - whether that's stretching, strengthening, dancing, or simply taking a moment to breathe.
This journey has also led me somewhere deeper.
After spending time in Ghana, my papa there inspired a strong desire to create something that gives back. Today, a portion of every Chelsea Mats sale supports clean water initiatives, helping fund the building of water wells in communities that need them most.
